Bobby vs. Girls (Accidentally)

Poor Bobby--he can't have the dog he's always wanted, his dad burns every batch of cookies he bakes, and now, he is at odds with his best friend!

Author Lisa Yee created very strong characters in this book--they seem so real and yet, a little strange too.

Who was the "quirkiest" character in the book?
What made him/her unique or special?

1.  Name the character you thought was unique.
2.  List specific words to describe that character and give evidence from the text to support your ideas.  (What does the narrator say about that character?  What do other characters say about that character?  What does that character do that makes him/her special, quirky, funny....
3.  Give your first  name and room number.
4.  Students who post on the blog by answering these questions, may join us Wednesday, Sept. 26 for our Nene Discussion.  (Mrs. Colte promises not to bring burned cookies like Bobby's Dad sends to the bake sale)

I think Jilliann Zarr is unique because she is 9 and i think that she is in 5th grade. Also I LOVE PIGTAILS THERE SO CUTE! and i think bobby is jealous. U know it's so obvious that he like her.

One of the characters who was unique was Bobby . He was kind , goofy , funny , and interesting . I liked him because he reminded me of one of my best friends , andrew . The book was so sweet and touching .

I think that this year the nene books are going to be as good as last years. Especially Bobby verses girls (accidentally)!

1. I think Bobby was unique because he is a football player and that's fascinitating.
2.He can't cook, he plays football, and he seems like a dad that I would want to have.

P.S. I do have that type of dad. LOL
