Guinea Dog is a popular book with students. It was on the Nene list last year and students voted for it to be on the list again this year. (I wonder if it will be on next year's list...? 1. I like that he wants his dad to get rid of Fido. When he said that he wants Fido to keep screaming.

The part I like best about this book is that the Guinea pig acts like a dog. I also like how he calls his bestie "Smurf" even though his real name is Murphy. I also like how Murph is ALWAYS joking around, like with the poisonous ducks. I DO NOT like the part where the writer, (Patrick Jennings) adds in the part about Murph flunking, I think this had no effect on the book and I think the book could do just fine without it. I also REALLY liked that they added in a girl, I forget her name…Anyway, they added in a girl, and I liked that because mainly, this is a story mostly about boys. In conclusion, I really liked this book, but it could be changed a little bit.

well I read the book a long time ago but what I like about the book is the story was mostly about boys and then they add a girl which brought more attention to the story

What I like about Guinea Dog is that his a stay-home dad (usually its a stay-home mom) and that Fido saves Rufus from the strong currents of the river. (Sorry if it's a bit wrong because I read since last year but this is what I remember)

I like the part when Rufus did not want to go home early so he asked the teacher if she need help and she said yes so Rufus stayed and clapped the erasers so he doesn't go home with Fido and dad. I also like when Fido listens to Rufus commands.
