Think about the activities we have done as a class. Whenever we do something as a class, I would like you to apply those skills to your homework/independent activities.
2. Look at the contest winners from previous years: http://nene.k12.hi.us
Create a blog entry on your Found blog: Nene Winners
a. List 3 winners you viewed. Include the:
year they won
title of book
type of contest (poster, essay etc.)
student name
b. Link their name to their winning entry.
Like this:
2008 Boy at War Digital Arts Erin Voss
2009 Lightning Thief Poster Travis Kim
c. Be ready to explain what you liked about each of those winning entries. You will present one of your choices in front of the class on Monday, November 22. You might want to jot down quick notes, or include your criteria for selection on your blog.
3. Zooming In paragraph is due on Friday. Written version and recorded version. Post your recorded version on your weebly. You may record your paragraph using Blabberize, Vocaroo or Xtranormal, but really think about which tool is the best tool for this project. Your writing is a persuasive, analytical piece--not creative. Which technology tool would work the best?
